A key part of living and practicing sustainability is acting socially responsibly and actively. What does that mean for me?
Already when founding "The Core Label" I knew that one of my goals was to support social organizations and projects, with the idea of one day possibly founding my own social organization. Why? Because actions are the answers.
My heart's project is to actively support social partner organizations with a donation for every purchase. For this reason, I have decided to donate 2 EURO of every purchase to our partner OCLEAN.
I hope we can inspire more companies to do this so that the work of social organizations can continue because it is needed more than ever.
Our Partnership with OCLEAN
Oclean was founded in 2019 by the three wonderful sisters Hannah, Lena and Marie with the aim of using various platforms to educate people about waste and plastic and how to deal with it in a modern way and with a lot of positive energy.
"Without pointing fingers, but with a lot of motivation, we are mobilizing against garbage - and want to win our fellow human beings over to help reduce the amount of garbage and plastic in the long term."
Educational Work in Schools
The OCLEAN team visits schools, among their Clean ups, to sensitise future generations to the issue of waste. A project day usually consists of a lecture or an interactive workshop and a hands-on clean up with the kids.
OCLEAN is currently working on an educational kit that you can take to class with interactive educational materials on the subject of trash.
